Trumpcade is an arcade you can play for free, or stake a run on against everybody else in the room. Same game, same seed, highest score takes the pot.
The short version
- 5cabinets open
- $5 / $10 / $15entry tiers
- 2–20players per heat
- 10%house fee
Practice is free and offline — no account, no deposit, nothing at stake. Staking a run needs an account and a balance, and puts you in a lobby with everyone else who picked that price.
How a heat runs
- Take a seatYou pick a game and a price. Your entry is moved into the lobby’s escrow, and you can leave and get it back any time before the lobby locks.
- The room fillsA heat needs two players and holds up to twenty. Everyone readying up pulls the countdown in; otherwise it starts on its own clock.
- The seed is committedBefore anyone plays, the server publishes a hash of the seed the round will use. It cannot change after that without the hash no longer matching.
- Everyone plays the same roundThe seed is built from the server’s value plus a value from every player, so no single party chose it. Same obstacles, same drops, same course, for everybody.
- Scores are checked, not trustedYour inputs are replayed against the same simulation server-side. The score the server derives is the one that counts, so an edited client scores nothing.
- The pot is paid outThe seed is revealed with the result, so any run can be replayed afterwards and checked against what was published before it started.
Who gets paid
How many places pay depends on how many players actually turned up. The ladder widens with the field, and somebody always finishes unpaid — a heat that pays everybody is not a contest, it is a rebate with a fee on it. Every place that does pay clears its entry fee: finishing in the money is never a way to lose money.
| Field | Places paid | Split |
|---|---|---|
| 2–3 players | 1 | Winner takes all |
| 4–6 players | 2 | 60 / 40 |
| 7–9 players | 3 | 50 / 30 / 20 |
| 10+ players | Top 20% | Front-loaded |
A player who never submits a run ranks as zero rather than holding up the settlement. Drop out mid-heat and you forfeit — though a connection that blinks and comes straight back does not count as leaving.
The fee
The house takes 10% of the pot at settlement. The rest is paid out to the places above. There is no fee to deposit, to practice, or to sit in a lobby you end up leaving.
| Share of the fee | Where it goes |
|---|---|
| 50% | Buy back $TRUMPCADE from the market and burn it |
| 50% | Development wallet — servers, new cabinets, upkeep |
The split is the project’s stated policy for what it does with the fee it collects. It is carried out by the team, not enforced by the game contract.
Deposits and withdrawals
Every account gets its own deposit address on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). Send USDG to it — that is the only thing the arcade credits, and it is what every lobby is priced in. Anything else sent to that address is not a deposit. Withdrawals pay USDG back out to an address you choose, with a minimum of 1 USDG.
You never need to hold ETH for gas here. The deposit address never transacts and never has to be funded: the arcade collects what you sent by authorisation and pays the gas itself, on both the way in and the way out. Deposits below 0.10 USDG are left where they are rather than credited — collecting them would cost more than they are worth.
Balances are held as ledger entries, and every movement — entry, refund, payout, fee — is a double-entry row. Nothing is credited that was not deposited, and a heat that cannot be settled correctly is parked for a human rather than guessed at.
Play with what you can afford to lose. A staked heat is a wager against the other players in the room, and most of them will finish it with less than they started.
